Prof. Robin Hui Huang is Chair Professor at the Faculty of Law, Courtesy Joint Professor in the Business School, Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is an internationally recognized expert in corporate and financial law with a focus on Chinese and comparative issues. He is also Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of New South Wales, Li Ka Shing Visiting Professor of Law at McGill University, High-level Visiting Professor of Law at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and Honorary Professor at East China University of Political Science and Law. He is Expert for Ascertainment of Foreign Law for the Supreme People’s Court of PRC and Expert Advisor to Shanghai Financial Court.
He has had more than 150 publications, with articles published in some of the top-rated journals in the US, the UK, Australia, Canada, Germany, Israel, Hong Kong and Mainland China, and more than 10 books published with reputable publishers such as Oxford University Press and Cambridge University Press. He is the author of Fintech Regulation in China: Principles, Policies and Practices (Cambridge University Press, 2021). He has been awarded “Humanities and Social Sciences Prestigious Fellowship Scheme” from Hong Kong SAR Research Grants Council in 2022 and “CUHK Research Excellence Award” in 2010, 2019 and 2023.
