XING Yicheng

Gold Award Recipient, CEFAR Annual Awards Competition (2024–2025) 

Yicheng Xing (Emily) is a 2025 graduate of the Master of Science in Financial Technology program at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is the Gold Award recipient of the 2024–25 CEFAR Annual Awards for her FinTech Industrial Project with HSBC, which focused on enhancing banks’ Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Processes (ICAAPs) under Basel III. She has also served as a Teaching Assistant at CUHK. Her research interests include quantitative risk management, RegTech, and sustainable finance, and she has received multiple national-level awards in financial modeling and innovation competitions.
