Michael Huang is an associate director in the Financial Institutions Ratings group. He is primarily responsible for the analysis and assignment of credit ratings on banks and non–bank financial institutions in Greater China.

Before joining S&P Global Ratings, Michael was an associate of Financial Services Ratings of Taiwan Ratings Corp., a subsidiary of S&P Global Ratings. Michael also served as a credit analyst for Fubon Life Insurance in Taiwan, mainly involved in the analysis of overseas fixed–income investments over various corporate sectors. He worked for Cathay United Bank as credit analyst and relationship manager.

Michael holds a Master of Business Administration from Georgetown University (U.S.), and a Master of Industrial Economics from National Central University.
